3:00 Update

We have been allowed into the ICU.  We're in the room with Tori right now.  They let us in here at about 2:15.  The nurse for Tori in the ICU is Edie.  She actually lives in the Fox Hill area.  Crazy.

They're monitoring all her levels and keeping her stable with meds.  She is still on a ventilator machine doing the breathing for her while she is asleep.  We're thankful that we'll be here when she regains consciousness.  It's amazing to see all the tubes and wires covering her.

You can see the ventilator over on the right.

There's the incision.  Yikes.

They'll be taking out the breathing tube in an hour of so which will be a bit traumatic.  Be praying for that moment.  We'll keep updating as things change.

  1. Just got back from picking up the kids from school. She looks so good! Praise God that she is stable!!!!! I am praying right now for that breathing tube coming out. I know that is difficult but she will be way more comfortable once it is out....and it is one huge step closer to being able to hold her!!!!!
Praying for you and your sweet baby girl!!!

  3. Yup! That was Brae's cardiologist too! God is SO covering you all. This surgery is just such a metaphor for all that this little girl has gone through -- and what she means to us all! The hole has been filled with a loving family -- and is being filled with the love of Christ emulating through her parents and sister. Amen.
