It's 9am on Saturday March 6th and we are still here in the ICU hoping to move to the pediatrics later today. Tori had a pretty good night. No major scares, but a lot of movement. She was awake a lot (despite what the photos show). She's getting a bit restless which is quite challenging with all the tubes and cords. Several times, she'd just sit up and twist around trying to get comfortable, often winding the cords around her or popping off lead lines. She's always been a bit of a thrasher. We did have our moments of sleep and many times it was in my arms for which I am so thankful. It's amazing how awake I feel for only about 5 hours of sleep taken 1-1.5 hours at a time. Thank you Lord for sustaining me.
Wiped out from trying to get comfortable.
Our Precious Tori looking more like herself
Isa 40:29,31 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak... those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.
