We are here at the hospital and have been for quite some time. There was a bit of a delay due to an unscheduled emergency surgery. Tori just went back with the anesthesiologist and a nurse. Unfortunately she was not as loopy as we would have like and still seemed very aware. She was calm but whined a bit as they turned the corner taking her away from us. We've found the "heart" waiting room, prayed, wiped our tears, are going to try and eat something, and continue to pray.
We have a prayer request... the anesthesiologist seemed a bit hurried and distracted due to the emergency and the shuffle of nurses and the inevitable paperwork. Please pray that minds are clear and calm and that hands are steady and sure. Despite the circumstances we trust that she is in the Lord's hands.
We will post pictures after we eat something and get out bearings.

Oh praying for calm and precision right now, that the Lord will keep the whole team focused on Tori. Praying for you as you wait. I know that I will never forget the feeling of when Georgia was in the OR....today begins a new day of healing for Tori, praise God for that. Thank you for updating!!!!!
